    I have exactly the same problem. I bought an 2010 FG XR6T ute with 5000k 2 weeks ago. Driving it on the freeway I immediately noticed the whine. I've had a BA XR6 ute since 2003 and recently had the diff replaced by a 3rd party. I'm not sure how I put up with it for so long. Now my new FG has a louder diff than the old BA! WhenTF are Ford going to get diffs right? Its not like they are a new thing... cars have had them for a few years now! Anyone know a good dealer in Melb? (close to CBD or western) Besides that, I love the new ute and the 6 speed auto is great.
