G'day, I've just finally bought a bf mk1 magnet 6spd man xr6t ute :D Now what are the best ways to get power gains out of it? Can I get it tuned with everything standard and run 8psi through it? I will be getting a k&n pod filter, exhaust etc while I save to get some work done to it at nizpro. Or can I do it cheaper? Any help would be appreciated, will be throwing a large % of my paycheck towards it until its an absolute animal Btw, are these utes fairly reliable stock? can I do the odd burnout (drop the clutch) and power slide out of roundabouts (when noones around ) without worrying about blowing the diff, gear box, sh*t like that? Looking at buying a Xr6t BA, thought it has 330 kw atw. Should I be buying this ute with its standard box? I asked the owner if he had any problems and he told me he broke two teeth in 5th from towing a boat. And that there ok if your good on them, don't smash gears and dont power in 5th. And... if I was to buy this and I did break the box, what sort of new gear box should I put in, mindful that I havent won the lottery? thanks for any help :D
