  1. yeah pretty much just want it on there to prevent boost drop off! But yeh is pretty much stock atm, mods goin on pretty soon though, and a tune. As soon as they arrive really, any day now! Dan.
  2. Well I got onto turbosmart and they helped me reset it, all good now! But the only problem I have is that I haven't wired up the rpm signal wire, now I have search and I think I need a sine wave converter or something? But most thread I have seen have been someone trying to install a monster tacho and get flamed. Anyone able to help out with the rpm issue? And if I do need a sine converter, where do you get them from?
  3. hey guys, well I took out the new solenoid and put the old one back in, but still not working right! had a reading at idle at around 2PSI, so just gonna take it to my mates tomorrow and put on the mechanical boost gauge and see what that reads. still cant find any kind of leaks or loose hoses anywhere, so maybe the unit itself is faulty? who knows! I've posted a pic of where the vac line is connected with the T piece, but as I said have tried directly off the BOV hose too with the same result. so yeh got me stumped? ill have to get onto Turbosmart I think! well I took out the new solenoid and put the old one back in, but still not working right! had a reading at idle at around 2PSI, so just gonna take it to my mates tomorrow and put on the mechanical boost gauge and see what that reads. still cant find any kind of leaks or loose hoses anywhere, so maybe the unit itself is faulty? who knows! 4. No worries, if I have abit of time tomorrow I'll put the stock solenoid back in and see what that does. I'll let you guys know! Thanks for the info.
  5. ha yeah planning on it soon mate! just waiting for all my parts to arrive so I can get it done!
  6. ....sorry I mean its the VAC line that goes from the unit itself that's connected to the hose near the BOV. but yeah prettty sure eveything else is how it should be!
  7. yeah exactly! umm the boost hose is connected with a t piece to the hose that's kinda next to the BOV, not the hose directly out of it. not sure what is called? but have tried with both hoses anyway, same result. ive checked over the hoses from the solenoid heaps of times, but all set up how it should be. ill get some pics tomorrow in the daylight. thanks for the help mate.
  8. yeah when we first put it in it was reading about -20 or so, but I'll give turbosmart a call tomorrow and see how its done. cause yeah don't want anything to go bang! still seems to be running fine though, but my mates got a spare boost gauge, so will put that on to check the boost levels. thanks mate!
  9. hey guys, not sure where to post this! but me and a mate installed an eboost street boost controller into my T the other day, car is pretty much stock atm. but the problem is, when we first installed it, it seemed to be working fine! then we took the car out for a quick run and when we got back we noticed the PSI wasn't reading right. At idle the vacuum is reading pretty much at 0.00, lowest it seem to get is -3. and with light accel its reads around 8-9 PSI. looked around a few threads about this, most say the BOV hose or other hoses may have come loose, but checked all that and everything seems fine, I've takin all the tubes on/off etc, but no dice! anyone got any ideas? or had the same problem? I'm still a bit of a turbo novus, so any help would be great! thanks, Dan.

  14. Lol, yeh they do look pretty nice against the ego! (if it's still called that)
  15. found this pic, without stripes with stripes (added my own haha) im a bit undecided really? I rekon both look good.
  16. dunno if I'd like the white rims, but do look good on that car though! Yeh I'm thinkin I might have to loose the stripes! Will most likely get the dark argents, Always been keen on them. my dads last 2 cars had em, got them on his white F6 310 now and looks sweet! But yeh worse comes to worse just can the stripes.
