Hey guys thanks sooo much for the support it sounds like this T56 Gear box is a real goooer any estimate on how much it should cost to fit the thing? as well should a new clutch be put in place? and any other accessories.

I currently have a 04 BA XR6 Turbo manual. I am having a issue with the gear box where slowing down from 3rd to 2nd u would get the odd crunch and grind to get the dam thing in gear.... as well not to mention if you do get it in gear it some times slips out but you are only presented with this issue if you are slowing down with gears. I am currently going around getting quotes for repairs valued at about apx $2000 to have this problem fixed up so I thought I might chuck up the idea of getting a better gear box capable of more HP. Would anyone have any recomandations as to weather I should get a new gear box and what is a good manufacture or just stay with the current one and have it reconditioned. Thanks guys Slacker
