  1. Electric Window Regulators Assist

    Hi gang! Im new to the BA scene, love my XR6 and am just amazed at this site and the following. Ive got some old style Fords but am seriously thinking of going new style.(Anyone want an xy or xa coupe?) But.... I would like to ask for some help...Today my little green XR dropped a window on the dr/side.Ive looked all over this site for a solution but Im not sure what happened. Window went down with a thud, was crooked,Ipulled it up for the long drive home and now wont opperate.Can hear motor going, Is it a regulator?Or mountings/cable broken? Can it be reparied? Or just replace it? Easy to do ? Or a soul destroying job? Dont wont to rip off door trim till I know where to look. Any help ,hints, greatly accepted. Regards Ian
