Advice from members lead me to install process west surge tank.. it took 15 mins with floor jack. (wiring pre installed) what a shame to hide something so well made out of sight. Any hints/tips to quiet pump other than stero upgrades ??

just wondering if anyone is using 42lb injectors and if so what power are they getting from them.. I am currently 321rwkw and looking to push it just a little harder..
  3. 321 rwkw @ 11psi with a monza. 5 back to back runs and only lost 20kw. 38 deg day.. 2pm run... yes I agree there are better I/c on market but sometimes cheap sh*t works.

I would fit a surge tank and pump and not do intank pump. As fuel surge will be a big problem at 300rwkw.. Also FIT A MONZA. they are a great cooler and I have many people who are over 300rwkw with these and they are cheaper.. I have 321rwkw on 11psi.. 5 runs back to back an dropped 20hp cant be that bad..
  5. well ??????????????. I had a BA with 280rwkw 6 speed and that clutch slipped.. Its just a matter of time for new BF. It also helps if your left foots quicker than your right.
  6. I had fitted a 3inch system to my XRT and at 13psi I was getting 290rwkw. As I was not very happy with that I then had a full 3.5 inch sytem fitted and re tuned by same shop. They took 2 deg of timing out and lowered boost to 11psi and gave me 321rwkw. So I got 31kw increase and a safer tune.. the 3.5 sounds great but the most important thing should be the exhaust flow. A 3 inch system will flow basiclly the same a twin2.5. 3.5 inch full system supplied and fitted for 1k. hope this helps..
  7. yep. I agree, but the noise I am talking about sound more like a tractor.
  8. I have just recently had a 4 inch dump and full 3.5 inch system fitted to my ute and have noticed that is sounds like the exhaust is leaking, I have check twice and has no leaks. The noise is not as loud when at normal operating temp.. Is this just the new dump pipe. ie the standard dump is cast and new dump is stainless.. anyone else having this problem..
  9. mods.. growler intake, monaza I/c, 42p injectors, in tank fuel pump. made 290rwkw at 12psi. I then added full exhaust 3.5 dump dipe and de tuned to 11psi 321rwkw with more on tap but its a hadfull to drive now.. and its a work ute. special thanks to the guys at Hi Tourque Gold Coast.
  10. 5 back to back runs on dyno and only bleed off 20kw, very happy I/c.
  11. 20,000 k,s so far no problem
