July 18, 200917 yr #1 G'Day ,As the title suggests, I am currently looking for a diff and have found this diff. The seller claims that the diff has 3.7:1 ratio. The yellow lable with the ratio has conveniently 'come off'. I took a look at the diff and subframe and found the following numbers..DIFFSUBFRAMECan anyone tell me what model/ratio this diff is off and the best way to tell the ratio?Cheers,AJ Edited July 18, 200917 yr by Phooned
July 18, 200917 yr #2 the easiest way to check, is turn the pinion 3.7 times, and the cv should turn once. David
July 18, 200917 yr #4 Author Thanks David and Trevs for the quick reply!...what ratio is your diff Trevs? Also, the number on the subframe ends with a BA (did Ford use the same p/n for the BFs?) Edited July 18, 200917 yr by Phooned
July 18, 200917 yr #5 you might be able to do it by the numbers, but im not sure, but if it is 3.7, it will be out of a 6speed man,xr6t, xr8, GT, and will be limited slip, will not fit in a normal xt cradle, ive been told but have not seen for myself. David
