Got the new XR6T yesterday. The car is just awesome!

But I have a question about how the premium sound system dash should look like. Mine has got the colour screen, 6 stacker in-dash CD but the rest of the dash looks exactly like the standard one (e.g. no "Premium sound" label and the controls themself are like the standard ones according to the manual). Is it normal?

That sounds right - no label. As long as you have the larger colour screen, bass speaker on the back parcel shelf - then you have thr premium sound.

Post a Pic of your car. Not sure if I have seen an Ego T yet.

yeah like cobrav8 has said.. the controls are the same as standard but if you have a larger colour display , 6 stack internal cd player and sub on the rear its premium..

I was a bit concerned - I saw the pictures of a premium sound dash and there was a label on the left saying "Premium sound".

Since I got the only yesterday there are no pics yet. But we are going for a nice ride today so we'll take the camera and then we will post the photos later.

The dealer said they were selling ego for 4 weeks only.

Post some pics since your all new. And what colour is ego??

As promised got some pics. I have to say this colour is SO different under different lightening conditions. When it is cloudy it is just dark grey. But when it is lit by sun it just looks awesome! Metallic shines with myriad of orange, green, yellow etc dots.

Btw, is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the throttle response is a bit dull when set to auto? For my taste it upshifts too early. When switched to seq.sports mode it is just brilliant. Or maybe the auto hasn't adjusted to my style yet?
