Not sure if I am on the right track or anything I have attached a diagram on the clock circuit and there is a analogue clock supply and a return which runs into the BEM. would I be right in thinking that because of this return not being there its not working. how have people who have removed there clock for gauges got around this problem. Car starts and runs great just like it alwayz has, in the top of the icc well its weird cos at the moment I have the clock just plugged in sittin on the dash if I disconnect the clock it has problems again. must have something to do with it. I wont if for the lux interior pack they move the receiver into the clock.

The story goes a while ago I removed my lux interior fairmont clock to have a go at mounting some gauges up there, for a week or two I didn't touch the car. now went I tried to lock or unlock the car it takes many attempts to do it. sometime wont ever. I thought might have been a flat battery so I switched keypads with the spare, tested once all was ok. another week pasted tried to unlock car, wont unlock again. replaced both batteries and still not working. Started to panic what have I done to my car. thought about it the only thing I have done recently is removed the clock. so I plug it back in and straight away locks and unlocks fine. now how is this possible does the clock act as a antenna? and when I put these gauges up there will I still have the no unlock/lock problem. Does anyone have any idea? where are all the smart electronic gurus ford guys even? Yours Nathan

I was at airlie the last couple of days and I went for a cruise around to see what we could do. If we feel like a lil drive either sat arvo or sunday. Conway beach is about 30-40km from airlie and there is a nice beach and some grass to park all the cars on with the beach right behind it. the road isn't too bad a couple of places it goes back to a single lane but it is all bitemun. Just an idea.

Looks good to me, Dean I am alwayz busy I am lucky if I see the office now for more than 10 mins a day, some days not at all driving to airlie beach and the islands is hard work I will see what I can add and do. I do have access to some colour printers so when we deicde I will print some up for us. Nathan

Whos good at designing things. Someone or a group of ppl should make a flyer cos there is lots of Xr's around town that I bet aren't on here. Would be a nice to drop a flyer under there wipers or something. To inform then about the cruise. might get more numbers. Nathan

If we are keen in the arvo or something or if we all meet up in Proserpine we could head out to peter faust dam its only a short drive and there isn't alot of water out there but it is something else. Just an idea. Nathan

I have some but they aren't chrome they are the shadow chrome with the machined lip and the clear coat on he machines lip is screwing up , it appears the clear coat is comming off. not sure about the chrome ones though. Nathan

I just bought myself one of these gauges and will be putting it in over xmas. just wondering which is the negitive wire on the o2 sensor. Good work by the way Nathan

Thanx for the replies guys just fitted a wog cooler myself. Took me a while though because I was not happy with the supplied brackets so I made my own. Thanx once again

Just like the topic says what are the hose clamp sizes on the standard IC piping, I am installing a wog cooler and was told to replace the spring clamps with the good old screw ones, just not near my car to find out what size the originals are so I can buy the correct size ones. If you are talking about the piece at the top which you replace with gauge pods. you can buy it from ford for about $30 for the standard one.

The Return Pipe is the short one at the front of the pic.

I dont agree. The best way is through the rubber grommet above the right kick panel and inside the right guard coming out near the headlight. This way no holes in firewall. ← Do you have any photos of the grommet. I dont like the idea of drilling holes, Thanx

Someone on here did a little write up on the cleansweep and I looked at gettin one but they are vey expensive. like around the thousand dollar mark from memory. (which is real bad my memory that is)
