Bawwxay Member 54 Member For: 2y 4m 27d Posted 18/09/23 08:11 AM Author Share Posted 18/09/23 08:11 AM Once before I have had that sound and once before you Puff have lead me to that and that’s exactly what it was, it is almost an identical sound to what it was before, before though it would happen when cruising, no load, slight load and surprisingly I haven’t got the car in boost in second for a long time, usually have to nurse the t5 and this evening it was only making the sound in second under heavy load. I was just hoping it wasn’t the dreaded valve float (if that makes a sound*?) or even worse the “knock knock” “pistons here”!

I don't remember any of the exhaust manifold bolts being difficult
