Street tuning a car isn't bad as far as tuning goes and if a racetrack or drag strip is used then that's fine. Hitting a kangaroo, radar, pothole or ya mates nanna while doing double the speed limit is the part where it gets risky.

But yeah that's just my 2c....at the end of the day

I'm sure they are but at the end of the day someone will be flooring that car down the highway at at least 160kph in 3rd gear or if they run 4th then 210kph.

To be the devils advocate to myself, mebbe they will only do 2nd gear pulls and just pull some timing from it so it won't knock in the higher gears?

Anyhow I don't want to be a scaremonger, I just wanted to raise awareness.

Not many ford tuners in Newcastle, BlackTrack is the only one using pcmtec that I know of (its my home town). Some random with a AWD dyno or someone who really knows what they are doing putting a tune in it...

Some of us do but money isn't the issue here, a lack of a dyno is.

I thought blacktrack would have come across the problem before.

That's what I thought too and then immediately thought, why aren't they able to rent a dyno? Seems a bit weird but I'm sure there is some reason for it.
