Hey everyone, just looking for answers on my 2005 BA MK2 XR6T

My car did the classic sped up indicator sound when indicating right a week ago, so went to check which indicator blew, it was the indicator in the headlight, so I swapped the bulb and happy days, 5 days later, sped up again indicating right, thought I blew a rear indicator, turns out it was the same one, removed it yesterday, bulb looked mint, replaced it regardless, turned car on tested indicator and she was all good again, turned car off, did not drive anywhere, turned car on today and it wasn't working again, replaced the indicator fuse and still nothing, only happening to that 1 indicator, any ideas? sounds like a short on the wiring for the indicator that only occurs on temperature change or something weird like that.

get a wiring diagram for the indicator mechanism and follow the relevant wires and test them for a short... or if you're not confident in finding/fixing it yourself, an auto-elec is your next step.
