Hey guys just thought I’d introduce my self have lurked around the forum for a while now and thought I’d sign up and say hey.

I’m  from Sydney and my car is a 2010 FG F6 it’s got all the usual bolt ons making 403rwkw on 98 and 497rwkw on E85 on a gtx3582 gen 1 next up for it when the funds are available Is a built ZF and a built engine for a full send haha, the ZF is currently hating life slips through third and flares badly on 3-4 shift.

My other vehicle is a 2018 Merc AMG C63S

two very different cars but love them both equally.

Hopefully get to know some of you guys who without even knowing it have been a world of help to me!

Hey Keith, thanks heaps for the welcome, for sure mate I shall post some pics when I get home on the weekend im away for work atm

Car is great with only 85000kays on it although some of the suspension components bushings etc are feeling abit tired and need a freshen up as well as the front brake Calipers need a respray.

As far as mods I’ll write up abit of a list

Process west cooler kit

4inch dump into 3.5 inch catback custom made by Liverpool exhaust

1000cc injectors

kpm 1000hp intank System

gtx3582 gen 1

valve springs

true trac Diff

turbo side Intake, battery relo (plazmaman)

few more bits and bobs will add the rest later when I can think of them haha.

tuned up on SCT car was tuned and set up before PCMTECH came onto the scene.

soon a built engine and ZF bigger turbo and fuel system will be put in and will go for a full send,  I’m after a combo in which more boost can be cranked into the midrange I like the feeling of a built car when the power

comes in hard and fast.

Btw what’s everyone’s opinions on cams when building an engine I want something that sounds tough (without those ridiculous grinds that completely kill streetability)

I know there is ghost cams and the stock fg cams are great for heaps of power but really want to put a set in

you can put in cams if you want, but the FG cams are good for huge huge power, so you don't really need to upgrade them at all.

plus your car probably sounds tuff when on gate anyway with that much power ;)

Does sound pretty tough, it’s internally gated but still sounds great when giving it the beans....

Im really starting to see less and less xr6 turbos/ F6s on the road have people started to retire them to weekend cars or people just tucking them away?

yeah, there'll be plenty of people tucking them away for weekend or storage.

They do sound pretty damn good in a decent dump+cat situation with more boost ;) I'm sure yours does sound great :)

Since being made redundant in 2019 and bouncing between jobs, it has been hard using her as a daily. Getting a new job Doing FIFO, means she sits in the garage now taking it easy. She is enjoying retirement a lot.

The new weekend vehicle is now a Diavel.
