Boost cut issues

So I blew into the wastegate line and its not leaking at all then I plumbed it up so the wastegate goes straight to the intake but its still cutting. So does that mean it wouldnt be anything to do with overboosting or tuneing if it still does it when its plumbed straight to wastegate

The stock actuator is 5-6 lbs, which means (sort of) it will open around that If you've fitted a 12lb actuator it reqires around 12 psi to open (vent exhaust gas around the turbine to stop making more boost) this is a mechanical thing not much you can do about without a stock actuator and/or a tune . put a pressure guage on it to see what pressure it opens at. or wire it open & take it for a drive, should have no boost and no 'boost cut' , no power but at least no broken mtr

You can just pull the "E" clip off, remove the rod from the arm and let the flapper "flap in the breeze".

Either way this will give the same result, no boost until 5000rpm, and let you know whether the actuator is the issue.

You'll have the stock actuator on your stuffed turbo so swap it over while you're there.

The stock B series Actuator is 4 psi the Stock FG Actuator is 6psi  both have a non Adjustable rod so preload is set

You will highly likely have an Aftermarket Actuator with a higher value and Adjustability

Stock B series will boost cut around 7psi and FG around 9 psi

Your clipping over boost ...

Get the factory actuator on this cheap junk set up and see if it works or if in fact the smaller rear housing is creating additional flow and compounding the situation

Yerp. A stock actuator could fix it but there is a chance it wont. The wg hole could still be too small or the comp could flow too much and it could still overboost anyway.
