Hey guys,

Family has a Xr6 ecolpi that they are thinking of selling, I think this is the cleanest xr out there 😄

85,000 km

Kenetic blue

Cloth seats

Beepers, no camera

Car looks and feels brand new

Mature female owner, all services done at ford, only issue we’ve had with it was a power steering leak (none pressure return hose leak)

Coolant and break fluid replaced every 2 years

The tyres are 1 year old still look fresh

(Michelin ps4’s)

8 months rego

Garaged since new

The car has been babied around feels so fresh it’s crazy, even the ZF clicks into every position unlike the ones that have been you know.... assaulted

Factory LPG: $45 to fill up 450km per tank

$19,000 ono

Located

Dee Why NSW 2099

If your interested send me your email and I’ll forward you images of this beauty 👌

Redbook dosn’t take into account rarity, low ks, maintance

I useto work for as an inspector for a supercar importer, they would place values of $100,000 on a cars that are collectors items worth $400,000

Redbook was my daily point of reference

They value a GTR 32 1994 vspec at $35,000 . . . In what world is a vspec 32 worth $35,000 ?

It would be an amazing world, if redbook had accurate pricing points

I actually just sold a G6E 2009 for a friend, it sold for $10,000

that thing was worth $10,000 😄

The pricing on this ones is not off, it’s the value of such a rare FG

The car is in showroom condtion you can eat off the underbody

The used price point for this car would be just under a FGX of the same spec

a FGX xr6 ecolpi used is worth about $22,000 realistically

Pricing a showroom FG at $19,000 ono is fair

ecolpi 2012 on redbook with 120,000km is $12,500... price is fine (LPG XR’s are worth more then petrol)

Most peeps on here are fairly knowledgeable. With respect, no chance of selling it on here at that price.

Try other market places. If you get anywhere near that price hats off to you.

I agree sometimes Redbook undervalued some models. Values for FG XR6 Turbos look a little low for example

While you are correct it is worth more than a petrol XR6 (non-Turbo), the petrols are not worth much.

There is a kinetic blue EcoLPI on CarSales described as excellent condition with 59,000 km for $15,999 which gives you a bit of a guide.

Agree 100% with that, that's exactly why I placed it on the forums first.

People on here will respect a clean example of an Aussie icon

People on here know and understand it's hard to find a clean XR (getting harder and harder), they start developing rust in 6 years, they have stuffed steering racks/suspension, their seats wear out from use really easily (compared to European cars), spoilers develop leaks from boot struts giving out and snapping the spoilers connections which in turn rusts out their boot lids...etc

XR enthusiasts love finding clean examples for their family members

I'm just feeding their dreams 😄 they don't have to buy this one for the $4,000 above "value" asking price, but they'll be happy it exists and can see the value

Buying one with 120,000 km right now

(which is considered low ks for an FG very rare to find one with 80,000)

you need to replace brakes $400

oil leaks $800

gearbox service 400-800

all adds up before you know it you’ve thrown $2,000 into a $14,000 car

So is it really a $14,000 car 😄

it’s all done on this car

It’s an offer price, right...

I know what kind offers I can get on this car 😄
