Are you sure those flames weren't added from Duke Nukem or Serious Sam?

3.58s 0 to 100 this afternoon with a somewhat tame 2nd gear launch.

Also the actuator hose had come off sometime at or before roll racing so it was making all the boost! :w00t2:

Fixed that and put new plugs in this afternoon. Winning :pandalol:

you'd assume near the end if you managed to win races... you probably wouldn't have a good tune that could make use of the entirety of boost that the turbo is capable of haha

The tune is capable of running all the boost that actuator can hold, which is either 100% wgdc or the hose off lol. It would have picked up a lot in the midrange probably and stuff all up top. It was at 90% wgdc to hold 25psi at redline while tuning the e85 stuff last time, so not much room to grow there. A stiffer actuator would be a different story.

I guess without an actuator hose the actuator would creep open as the boost level rises as the solenoid isn't providing any help to keep it closed, depending on the full mechanical situation it's in...

yeah, a stiffer actuator may have lunched some strong hardware in the driveline... a little lucky in that respect, at least.

Haha what strong hardware? It's all stock except the engine and bolt ons. We'll see how long my luck lasts with the trans though. It'll put a lot more stress onto the hard parts after the clutches get upgraded.

The solenoid only helps open the actuator, as it is a one port wg. A 2, 3 or 4 port helps it stay shut.
