Alrighty I'm getting somewhere now. Did some logging and the cam timing is working. It's also on straight E85 from the local track.

I put the data into virtual dyno with the same smoothing settings as before and it gave a very different result.

I added the boost to the graph for interest sake. It looks like I need to get in there and add a touch of duty but this is a start.

Also forgot to brake boost it so that's just rolling into it in 3rd.

that looks more like it... doesn't seem to be falling over as much... but 16psi and 700nm is probably not where you're going to stop, eh ... :3gears:

Yeah more than likely will turn it up a bit. I'm a bit hesitant cos I don't wanna break the drive-line but I spose I'm a little way off that happening.

Yay I guess.

So I turned it up to 20psi and the graph picked up to 412kw at 5600 and 787nm at 4500.

Is that a decent gain for another 3.5 to 4 psi?

Granted it isn't a real dyno, I'm using it for comparison rather than actual real world numbers but I thought the overall number would be higher. Mebbe the zorst ain't having it?

Anyhow I've had enough car stuff for one day, time for that afternoon Sunday sesh. :drinks:

Catch can arrived today.

I'm gonna have to brush up on my welding skills so I do a good job with the rocker cover and intake pipe. I've got some scrap aluminium I can practice on so it shouldn't take long to get dialled in again.

As long as it works I'll be happy. I think it'll be ok.

Currently the pcv system is comprised of the stock rear vent/one way valve into the intake manifold, and the middle vent was just a hose going to the turbo intake pipe. Very much less than ideal for a car running more boost then standard.

When I fixed the cam timing the middle hose refused to stay on, so this kit arrived just in time!

Here is another attempt at a 0 to 100 pull. It's getting kinda hard to film and drive so I'll look into some sort of stand to hold the camera.
