Hey guys, my 09 FG falcon xr6 after sitting for a few weeks while I was away, has all of a sudden started having issues with the A/C. So if I put it right down to Low it starts cooling and works fine, but the moment I put it up to 18'C it all of a sudden changes over and starts blowing hot air, this is all whilst its 31'C outside, is there some form of sensor or something that could be playing up to cause this? Anyone had any similar issues?

Cheers

sounds like a mixer shaft issue... e.g. it's not moving to the correct position and it's physical positioning is telling the system the wrong information about what should be done (heating/cooling etc)...

Thanks for that, any idea how much of a major it is to rectify that or the best way to go about it? Is that gonna be a dash out job?

Thanks again

if it's the mixer shaft, yeah, dash-out job.

obviously an air-con specialist can confirm the fault and then you can go about fixing it or choosing to pay somebody to fix it :)
