Back at it again today! Big thanks to@joncitizen hooking me up with the sump arches at short notice!

Big days got lots done. First up I started with the sump getting it all sealed up and tightened down.

The moved on to getting the engine in the car and went about bolting everything up. The engine is huge! I started with the inlet manifold first, then exhaust side, rear main seal and trans and finally the cooling system.

Cars running smooth, oil pressure primed up no drama. Let it idle for a bit and all looking good. No left over bolts and no check engine light. Winning! e4d5d572976cb3d3095f393c948c83f6.jpgeae639b6c857689c605ff800d5a997b4.jpg9ce4639731c7bad75b101dda066511d3.jpg33c66b7d9cabbdde0827d9e0b3dcc038.jpg16578599015c0d529b818d0e0252dbbb.jpgeabe1916104d09c334200131e84e6dcf.jpg165c6d7a9f761df6ea4b2095eba14d00.jpgae17126f610fae0065bed8c61d52a0f6.jpgf4cfc7456715265e1cb5c0e85b31ce21.jpg4c88d77ff075f39059296866ba76bd6a.jpgb94c159870cb392ab8954d9c7340769f.jpg9e2ef6addc5dabcdee922f6117e95989.jpg

Yeah mate, I'll sleep well tonight knowing I don't need to chase some random issue. Just a few things left, tail shaft front bar and general tidy up and check over.

Still need to decide on who will do the next tune and hopefully back on the road asap drive the bloody thing

Little bit left and completed today including tail shaft, front bumper and bonnet. Dumped the oil and filter after running the car for a little bit and refilled with some fresh Penrite.

Also noticed the plastic cap that sits over the butterfly rod had popped out over the weekend of my high boost bonanza so I've rigged up this plug which I trimmed down to be a push fit with a bit of silicone for good measure. See how it holds up in the future but ive got a 4 pack to get it right.

Thinking if now is the time before retune to add a dump and cat combo or just stick with my bolt in cat. Just want the car to make easier power with lower boost. Any suggestions? I'm looking at the advance headers 3.5inch dump and cat combo.

Another option is pick up a cheap dump and get an exhaust shop to cut and shut my venom bolt up cat to work together but I suspect wasting my time going to an exhaust shop for them to piss in my pocket, charge me $600? labour is really not worth it. 6f77f65714d9ec1128a34eecf4267035.jpgfe93e22614815f247129c993c20d708c.jpgb709efd7bfb9a632b32642d504de45b5.jpg20f939e52efdad257297dc364a89f404.jpg67aece2eb0d2ff101c675e7d971efb4a.jpg1fb32c7d4d95fd701ae56f0f02a5960d.jpg

At this stage I'd just do the cat cos I doubt the dump will be a restriction just yet. But if you're going further with it down the track then sure, chuck the dump in now, you may as well.

Either either, there's my 2c :)

I thought about just leaving my venom bolt in cat but when I had the car apart inspecting the stock dump, it just doesn't look like its up to the job but maybe it is. Is the dump something to look at from 400+rwkw?

Trust Puff over me, but I found the 3.5 dump to 3.5 cat gave me a noticeable/graph torque gain and response is better after a tune, but I was using a sh*t PWR cooler that was too small to begin with, so I don't yet know what the HP gain will be. With the stock dump into a 3.5 cat I had 495rwhp at 18psi but it felt restricted to me up in the rev range. You are using e85 in the LPG motor? You might find yourself well over 400rwkw

Well you might want to ask some folks on here the old 3.5" vs 4" dump. I use 3.5 to 3.5 cat because its my daily and im not on boost or my max boost all the time. My tuner will only use 4" but he tunes 1000hp cars all the time so... I think I remember some saying on here that 3.5 was good enough for a fair bit.
