Hi All,

I have a 2010 FG sedan and the time has come to replace the battery it came to me with. Looking at making a long term investment so I'm happy to spend the money this time as it will probably stay in until I sell the vehicle. Does anyone have any recommendations on a sturdy, high quality battery?

Thanks all! :)

there's no such thing as a battery that lasts the life of a car, unfortunately, due to the nature of how a car uses a battery... so it's only really worth investing in a 3x ++ more expensive one if you need the extra juice that it provides for a sound system or something. Stick with a cheap-ish battery that's got the same CCA rating as the one you've currently got in the car and it'll last 2-5 years (assuming you drive the car reasonably often and the alternator/charging-system stays in working order throughout that period of time). A more expensive battery is hardly likely to last much longer than a reasonably priced battery.
