This is an old question and forgive me if im asking the wrong group. But I have been doing some research and seem to want to settle on a 6t or xr8 factory exhaust (catback) mainly due to cost. Iv read you need an adapter and the flow is a bit much for an n/a (twin 2.25 inch I believe, correct me if im wrong). But there are some things I still want cleared up. If any of you guys can enlighten me it would be appreciated.

1. There are only 2 videos on youtube that are old but you kinda get the idea of sound, but what I want to know is if it is a really nice throaty sound with the odd crack and pop (like a center muffler deleted 6t)? Has a nice idle? If it sounds nice in general (at all rpm) and how loud it is (dont want to be giving people headaches)?

2. Any drone? Don't want to be cop bait, and dont want to sound like the fart sounding muffler deleted commys either.

3. Big one I find different answers to is if it increases performance? Alot of people say there is lack of back pressure ect.

4. Is it really worth it? Quality wise, sound, performance and cost.

I kinda want to stick to xr6t exhaust ect from what I heard but if the redback system or any other system that seem to suit my description of throaty and crackly or more specifically like a center muffler deleted 6t, Id love to know (not interested in xforce). I'm contemplating swapping the stock one out of the 03 ba xr6 next year or so have plenty of time.

Appreciate it guys.
