k31th less WHY; more WOT Site Developer 28,303 Member For: 16y 15d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 19/07/19 04:30 AM Share Posted 19/07/19 04:30 AM it's a simple physics equation... if you get close to exceeding the amount of force (torque) your wheels can provide with the current gearing setup the car will lug badly and barely make it... if it makes it easier on one hill as compared to another, then there must be other contributing factors that are opposing the amount of torque you're providing on the hill that struggles hard as compared to the one that doesn't... your perception of how "steep" it is may be flawed? Hard core headwind? Fat stowaway? Hard core industrial magnet in the vicinity? Jokes aside flawed perception of slope is most likely...eg. maybe it starts gentle but gradually ramps up?
