2009 territory disabled radio

Hi just joined hoping that someone can help me out cause the ford tech support had no idea what I was going one about and said that it not done for anybody                                                                                      so I bought an 09 territory off the exclusive brethren and he told me that the radio was disabled on his request due to religious reasons rang ford that was a waste of time of them just telling me its broken and needs replacing and then needs to go into ford dealership to get it unlock or something iv checked all fuses pluged and unplugged the icc and all that happens is it says code for about 2 seconds meanwhile all climate funtions are displayed and working fine PLEASE HELP is there away to find out if its disabled

either way, Ford should be able to fix it. If they can't, go to a Ford coding specialist. Or just get a replacement ICC.

Might be a wise idea to get a ford obd2 connector from ebay, there pretty cheap and load up forscan.

otherwise ford should be able to do it for you, just be wary and go to one that knows whats there talking about. 

when I put the cruse control buttons on my ba, my local ford said they have no idea how to enable it and would charge $125 just to look at it, even if they couldn't work it out.

took it to another place and for half that cost and about 5 mins of time it was done.

Just rang around a few ford service centres last one I rang was in parramatta NSW and he informed me that it is something they do for people for religious reasons only but it still gunna cost 200 bux I'll look at other option like forscan and give it a go myself and the guy said it will take a few minutes to reset it and 200 is a bit steep for a few minutes feels like robbery

 

But he defiantly said he can activate and deactivate the radio
