Hi there guys,  please excuse me if this has been covered somewhere, I have used the search function and googled extensively but to no avail.  I have just purchased a ba Ute.  The previous owner had the radio disabled by ford and I can’t work out how to get it back on.  I have checked to see if all the plugs were connected to the icc - underneath it the four plugs are all connected, in the fuse box near the steering wheel the plug to ‘amp’ a 20a one was missing so I put that in but still nothing.  I can’t work out how it’s been disabled... is there another plug somewhere or something?

The unit has power and the aircon etc is all displayed, just the clock is blinking 12:00 and no stereo at all.  I found a sticker inside near the icc that states;

‘The audio unit and digital clock in this interior command centre has been disabled.  Please refer to ford product information letter 63/03’

I have tried to google that but nothing came up.  Please help!  TIA

the electronic module within the ICC that connects to both the audio unit and the car's electronics needs to be coded to match up to the car's other electronic modules, but it sounds like that's working as it should if the aircon is correctly functioning... take it to either ford or a ford programming specialist and get them to look at it.

that message doesn't even make any sense.
