FG Turbo manual conversion

Hi all.

 

I am looking at converting my G6ET to manual. I just need to know if the engine/transmission wiring loom is the the only wiring change needed?

Im doing all the mechanicals, wiring and PCM flashing myself. Any tips from anyone who has done this conversion would be great.

It's just a matter of wiring up the reverse lockout solenoid and the associated pedal switches and getting your tuner to switch it to a manual in the PCM :)

What k31th said about the wiring.

I changed to a manual harness as with my conversion and the lockout had to be added.

As for pricing, wreckers were around the 6k mark for a complete drive line swap with all the interior gear and hydraulic setups.
Or if your after a magnum, they're just under 6k at the moment for the box alone from Mal Wood.

Where are you located?
I've got a tr6060 and bell housing I'd swap for a few cartons. Not gonna post it though.
