Hi all

Just wondering if I’m able to use a FG na long motor with low KMs and put the FG turbo head on I’m aware they run different compression and I’ll have to use the turbo sump for the oil return if this is possible is there anything else required, and will it cope with 500rwk

thanks

Yes, you can put a turbo head on a N/A motor. The motor itself won't cope with 500rwkw for long without some rotating assembly components being significantly strengthened. You can tap the N/A sump, too, if you want, rather than source a turbo sump.

while the engine will probably come apart, replace valve springs, rods, pistons, bearings, oil pump gears and head studs. :)
