Report post #1 Posted 26/01/19 11:25 PM hi there after some information please. 03 ba falcon xr6. car was driven over some rocks not sure how big I wasn't there, there is a dent in the fuel tank steel cover directly below the fuel sender on the underneath. from near empty putting fuel in at around the 25-30ltr mark there's a leak not small either. have looked while it's leaking but can't seem to see bugger all. so have removed the sender and checked seal area for obvious damage and no obvious. jacked up rear end and removed the fuel lines and sheet steel cover. and tried removing the tank only to find out through old mate Google can't be done without removing IRS, rear subframe and diff FFS!. does anyone have any ideas on what to check before I dismantle the whole rear end to change the tank out 😢 thanks in advance Go to top

Report post #4 Posted 27/01/19 03:12 AM (edited) tanks probably cracked, they occasionally do this even without damaging them. remove rear seat and check around the pump area for leaks/smell. Edited 27/01/19 03:13 AM by skidxr6t 1 Go to top
