Ba,Bf front wheel bearing spec

Recommended Posts

Easier and cheaper to get a wheel bearing and hub assembly. Just bolts on.
Part number is 4417 from a parts shop, and don't forget to buy a new hub nut as they're single use.

OK I will check there as well I need a couple.

$70 for 2 on eBay with nuts. Can be a bit hit and miss but most aftermarket parts are pretty good these days.

I asked a simple question with a distinct answer if any other option was available I would not have asked that question  so unless I can  receive an answer to that question I see no use in the rest of the noise being made in my thread

I tried searching that 350910 part number but no luck.

Found this

https://www.alliedbearings.com.au/front-wheel-bearing-hub-assembly-for-ford-fairlane

Pic says bearing part number DAF20023, which led to this:

https://en.tradebearings.com/DAF20023-172121.html

If the image is correct the hub itself is the carrier so you won't get a bearing OD as such which no doubt is why you can only really buy as a kit

37mm ID x 52mm wide / deep double row angular contact ball bearing

See we're good guys on here

Thanks you all sorry for being rude but I have been searching for a while for this and seems like I'm goin to have to get even more creative and make my a plan

If you punch your car details onto the supercheap website there is a listing for just the front bearings, no picture though. The rear ones have a pic, just bearings.

And the good thing is when they fail , coming from Supercheap , you can take them back , get a refund and then buy a pair of genuine ford.

If you all actually read the thread the op is after just the bearings. Supercheap is the only place they can be found ATM if someone has a ford part number for just the bearing that would help. Maybe they sell the hub complete... Who knows.

not sure what you're on about, mate... all he ever asked for was the measurements of the bearings, which post #10 has the exact measurements with a caliper, so I'm not sure what else you could want? he hasn't given us any more information other than he has to "make (his) plan"

well, you're right, camo, that everything is an approximation in the world of measuring, but it's a pretty frickin' accurate approximation :pandalol:

Not trying to be a smart arse - first time for everything - but the verniers held at that angle won't give you an "accurate" dimension...I believe @NA_TURBO was giving an indication on bearing ID and focused more on readability that actual dimension

Actual bearing ID is 37mm, not 36.4-ish as shown in the pic ie. 11ty billion miles out in this particular bearing application

Anyone else but you I would've let it go, but I know you're all about being correct...... :P
