I've never owned a ford xr6 turbo before now, but ive come to realise you have to ease on the power and don't snap the throttle off. Rear end dont likey

quite a few times I don't get the cycle right and it thuds and then the rear wheels tend to squeal with the change of gears, but the thud is unnerving at the beginning.

you get use to it though. as mentioned above, the smoother you can get the whole process done, the less likely it will thud.

It could be something I have to get used to, this is the first XR6 turbo Ive owner so it's a possibility. I guess I'm used to your standard Japanese car (skyline) lol

I didn't really notice it too much until a mate of mine who's a mechanics picked up on it. He drives an 8 sec GTR so maybe his not as familiar with the fg

I would record my driving inside the car with a go pro, but I am pretty sure that my exhaust is too loud to allow the go pro to pick up on it.

Skylines rattle everywhere haha, ford just clunks in the rear. Like I said, dont snap the throttle on and off like our much loved skylines and your rear end will live a little longer.  Gotta remember these things make a sh*t load of torque down low, not like your little rb25det.  My two cents. Hope what I said makes sense.

Here's a video so you can see what I mean. A lot of movement back there.
