I think I might be camping that weekend out near the grampians, but if not, I might come over for a few days (if I do, will need to bail on Saturday, but rejoing you on Sunday)... I'll see how my budget is going closer to the time

So....

2 nights Triabunna, 2 Strahan sound good?

2 east, 2 west?

Lock it in?

Or prefer to move more?

@EvilDaifu, @k31th

Thoughts?

2/2, 3/1 etc?

Three nights on the East coast could be great - we haven't really explored there, while we've seen most of the West Coast

Would let us try the top, middle and bottom, and, as Matt says, it's free ;)

Annual Leave is approved  But hope work doesn't get in the way - like need me interstate or something. We have a few sales opportunities that may start to develop in March.

I like 1 night in Strahan (quiet but roads fantastic) then spend 1 night maybe in main Hobart town (we will be buggered from memory that 2nd day and I like the pubs in Salamanca) then 2 nights in Triabunna to explore the East Coast?

If you're already in Melbourne for Avalon then the return trip to and from shouldn't count/scare you :P

Take the misses for a trip down the Great Ocean Road the days between the air show and the tassie cruise.

You're retired - can take your time :P

Anyone else booked the boat?

We'll be going from the boat to 2 nights in Triabunna and making sure we do the East Coast properly

1 night in Hobart

1 night in Strahan.

(doing clockwise this time - making sure we find the places we ran out of time for on the other trips)

Spare day in Triabunna - am waiting for a popular vote/group decision on whether to do the roads in the middle, explore the coastal bays or do Port Arthur.

Bunking with me or getting the honeymoon suite?

;)

(or bunking with me and letting the misses go the deck chair?)

Actually - just after I booked my berth - they were advertising balcony cabins for $500 or something

I'm out, I cant commit. I may be down for a day for the airshow as I cant commit to that either currently so can always catch up for a brewski if I'm down...

when I saw "MBAF has replied..." to this thread, before even opening the thread I knew it would be you saying "I'm out" (or some such variant thereof).
