how you manifest anger is part of your character, from a psychological perspective; not sure you understand that... but it's fine, it's not relevant to this thread, anyway :)

Yes Keith I understand that but like I said you have NO idea what goes on or what I’ve been through or what I’m going through so again your opinion and google skills are really irrelevant and I was simply venting...

carry on

Hopefully MBAF, Keith and BCB join us - I think Matt's going to meet us there too

Me and Mrs BCB are definitely coming, and will most probably have a feed as well

looking forward to it :original:

Yeah the more I think about it - better to get a feed at the pub before getting on the boat.

Bought a DJI Mavic Air today - really easy to fly ...

Some other HowTo YouTube vids show the Mavic Air following cars and motorcross bikes - I saw on one that they reckon top speed for ActiveTrack feature is about 27km/h so I'm thinking maybe good for slower shots.  Not sure yet :beerchug:

Edit: according to this guys drone, 27klm is absolute max

probably safely active track at 24/25 klm

I may buy a Vehicle Pass (covers 8 people for 8 weeks) for Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair (which I may do on Sat) and Freycinet NP as well as Maria Island NP if we decide to go there.

Looks like it may be pretty wet on the Fri through to Strahan.  But it clears up on Sun-Tue on the East Coast.

But weekend on West and East Coast improves

I'll buy the 8 week Vehicle pass that will cover for 8 people - we may stop in a few National Parks during the trip.

Discussed with Rab about some vid opp with DJI Mavic Air.   Maybe I should buy an extra battery?  Each battery gives an alleged max of 21 mins flying time but got to factor in having enough juice to get back to land and the mucking around that a noob *cough* me *cough* does 🙄

Here's the menu for those interested at the Pier Port Melbourne, 1 Bay St, Port Melbourne.

Gotta say steaks looks a bit exxy but then I think the micro Pizzas on board the ship were about $16 each (need at least 2 of them to make up a normal sized pizza) ...
