I'd recommend buying a genuine chra

That's a core mate. Chra stands for centre hub rotating assembly.

$700 for new bearings and seals in your old core or around $1100 for a new core plus labour if required.

Hi guys - Looking for recomendations to get this core replaced.

Im in Sydney.

I contacted hypergear via email.

Called GCG - Quoted $1495 to replace core! ..and told that rear housing might be cracked and if it was, new turbo which he sold for a gazillion dollars.

A shout out to @JETURBO as someone mentioned you for parts, after a GT3576R core?

Anyone else got a good experience somewhere in Sydney for core replacement at good price?

Thanks...

I can do you a brand new Genuine Garrett GT3576 CHRA, excellent 2nd hand standard front and rear housings, all bolted together in FG rotation and posted to you on a changeover basis for $1600

bolt off, bolt on in 2hrs and away you go

buzz me a PM if you’re keen :)

While that is a good option for someone who can't replace a chra but can r&r a turbo, if op can't remove and replace the turbo themself then getting the bearings done will be a much cheaper option. Just over $900 cheaper in fact.

It comes down to whether op can do the work themself or not.
