I build houses, not cars, so please be gentle. its about time I learn how to work on these awesome, yet pain in the I <3 Bananasing arse contraptions. my question is.. my bf xr6 has premium sound installed. not gunna cut it, Am I able to replace the stock amp (utilizing all pre installed power cable, ground cable, speaker cable, ect.) with an aftermarket amp, say 400 watt rms to a pair of pioneer 12 inch 800 peak, 150 watt rms subs? Dont want to cheap out to much its a I <3 Bananasing nice xr and I love my music. obviously the subs will be boxed in the boot not this parcel shelf open air sh*t. so... am I able to utilize the same cables for my new setup and just swap amp and subs out? on a budget right now so hoping I can give it a crack . work in progress. if I build it, I will come, giggedy. cheers for any help guys. may the ford be with you. Put in a head unit up the front and replace all factory audio stuff. About $1000 for a reasonable quality audio setup, probably a bit more for 2 subs.
