HELP

I have a XR6 2007 BF. I have added a turbo kit to it and also the XR6T ECU the new ECU is coming up with fault codes saying the Non Turbo PCM is not communicating with the turbo ECU.

This is causing It to be stuck in limp mode and wont change out of 3rd gear

3rd gear goes surprisingly well.

Iv Added turbo set up map sensor

extra loom needed for boost and waist gate solarnoid.

Both are BF 6 speed auto, I have heard you may be able to use a Ford au trans 4speed?

Does anyone have any other ideas I have done a lot of work to it and I'm about to give up.

Who's up for a challange

Hey mate. Give us a bit more detail on exactly what you have done. A PCM and an ECU are two names for the same thing, so what you are saying doesn't quite make sense.

What exactly did you swap into your car?

What exactly are the fault codes?

Lots of people have done swaps and conversions so might have seen similar issues.

thanks for geting back to me so fast

I have a non turbo bf vehicle, you have plus turbocharged it, fitted a 2bar map sensor, boost solenoid and boost pressure sensor. We are trying to program a turbo bf ECU(pcm) but are getting calibration fault codes and software incompatible codes from ABS and TRANSMISSION

the PCM needs to be re-coded to suit the vehicle it's planted into, in terms of both being non-turbo originally and now turbo, plus being whatever transmission the PCM is out of and coded to your current transmission. Ford or somebody with solid understanding and toolset for these vehicles is required.
