How do I code the key to the car not the remote I can set that via the rear demister button I mean the actual key apparently needs to be coded ? The key cutting place I went to said there machine can read the code in the chip but it cant copy it, does this sound right as he said he could put 1 of his chips in it and code it chip $100 cut the key and code it $40 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You need to get the key cut first. They laser copy it then cut it. $25.
