Your car sits sweet. What are your hub to guard measurements?

I have new sssl rears and measure between 330-335.

if I can get the fronts to be close to 340-345 fully settled I’ll be happy as Larry.

On the rear springs? No I haven’t yet. Depending how the front looks I may slot in a top and or both top and bottom nolathane spring pads for fine tuning the rears. I used them on my GT-P But don’t remember them being 10mm think. Maybe 5mm?

So definitely the SL will be the go on the front. Hopefully these SL X I have sitting there are the same ride height.

if not they would probably suit the big heavy boss motor in my GT

Haven’t had time to put the front springs or steering wheel in yet but I did give the big girl a much needed wash after all the rain we had this past week.

clean courtesy of duragloss 901 and concours purge reactive wheel cleaner.

its hard to really catch how good it looks after using the duragloss concentrate on a white car. But I swear it gives it a nice canuabra wax glow afterwards.

Managed to service the prado and made a spacer for the rear wheel carrier. (New slightly bigger tyres 265/70/17 Mickey Thompson atz p3).

Also installed the steering wheel this arvo to the turbo but had to put the tools away early for the front springs because I’ve been called in to work tonight and need to get a little rest before the 12 hour night.

All went smoothly. Just had one moment of panic once I finished. And that was a fear of installing upside down. The perforated leather around the top spun me out as I’m used to what my GT-P has (perforated sides grips only).

Anyways some pics to show what I mean:

Turbos steering wheel (yeah I know the floor needs a good cleaning)

Finally got a little time to put the front springs in Thursday just gone and has had a little time to settle in. Still on standard front shocks. They were still fine and thought I’d put these kffl-57SL X to see how they sit. Pretty happy with how it is now. Sitting at about 330-335mm at all corners except for the front left towering in at 345mm (same day measurement was 355mm)

Double checked that all had seated well and thought it needed a little settling time but how it is now I’m guessing is meant to be on the drivers side. I did check over the springs initially to see if there was any give away on passenger/driver side specific springs but seen no such markings.

all in all it was pretty straight forward and un eventful..

The turbo isn’t the cleanest at the moment and I had just taken these pics tonight. Well get better ones in my days off this weekend.

Also today this bad boy arrived in the mail.

$160 delivered from Facebook marketplace find. Happy with that as I was quoted $360 delivered for this exact cat from sureflo exhaust a month or so ago.
