Been at this clip for over an hour. Tried scribe, screwdrivers, G-clamping, nothing will move it and there is no holes - its just a piece of metal. Maybe even put a socket between the cap and g-clamp so you're compressing more towards the OD of the cap. Looks like you should be able to get a right angle seal pick in that gap at end the of the ring and force it between the ring and and the groove. If you don't have a seal pick maybe try a sharp wood chisel and try forcing that in between the ring and the top edge of the groove. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
