Correct

Had a mantic twin plate organic in the ute for 3 or 4 years at ~330rwkw, light pedal and quiet, held ok.

More mods and power it was a different story, would start to slip in 3rd at 380rwkw, never mind e85 tune.

Bit the bullet and replaced with an NPC twin plate, turns out that the mantic hasn't been installed properly by the old tuner. Something to do with the csc but don't recall details.

So that's my inconclusive experience,@tazzanz I'd go with something more proven in these cars (like NPC, mal wood) at your level for sure.

Nice to know mate, might give it a miss. What’s the pedal feel like on the NPC?

This is the one I was looking at, incredibly expensive though :/ they claim it holds up to 1400nm which is a amazing claim if true.

Will hold the power and abuse.  Won't be nice in traffic.

Steer clear of ceramic for a daily

I think that's cheap for a clutch

hi guys,

sorry to revive an old thread. I've tried to search the subject but can't find any solid answers. I'm after clutch recommendations for my BF. At the moment it's stock, but I'm soon going to be chasing 300rwkw.

most of my driving is on the weekend to Melbourne and back (freeway) but I do also like to give it a bit here and there. It's not a daily, but as I drive to Melbourne via the Monash parking lot, it still needs to be bearable for stop start crawling, especially in the wet. I don't care much if it's heavy, just needs to not be on/off

I occasionally use the car for motorkhanas, khanacross and autocross, but they're all on grass/dirt, so there's not enough traction to really cause too much extra strain on the clutch.

Cheers,
Jer
