in that case, just get some ba/f falcon 17x8 rims and some 275 et street radials and if you go to a reasonably sticky track, it'll grip even if you give it the full beans off the line (assuming your car is close enough to stock power), especially if you warm them up with correct burnout.

Suspension . I haven't had wheelspin at the track since having shockworks fitted and running m/t et street radials.

3rd gear burnout and it hooks up all through first. Car has run 10.2 so far.

Decent tyres (basically not the stock OEM rubber that came on the car) let some air out (was running 26psi on the Innvos I think).

Decent shocks

Stall it up

Release brake, push on accelerator

When I got the Shockworks I knocked a heap off my 60'

Tune to bring the power on smoother and stronger

Tune transmission to change sharper and allow you to stall it up (if auto)

Practice

Bumping this, I think I've found what I'm looking for...

I have found a set of 17x8 fg rims for $550 on marketplace. Looking for some wheels I can use to put some better tyres on for drags and roll racing.

After doing some research online, lots of sites don't recommend any wider than 245 on a 8" rim.... But I have heard of people putting some chunky boiz on bf 17x8 rims too...

So, 275's will fit on these 17x8 rims?
I was looking at maybe 255's or 265's but if 275's fit.... that's even better!
