Who makes a decent direct replacement cooler for BF?

The overwhelming opinion seems to be Monzas and ebay equivalents are a waste of $

F6 isn't much of an upgrade.

Who makes a good cooler I can use with stock piping?

I want to keep the engine bay looking stock and I'm not chasing big numbers.

An intercooler har har har.

I spent less than that on the cooler but spent more than that on the rest of the intake tract.

All up was a tad over $1700 from air filter to tb. All that's left is to buy a better quality cooler one day.

A "cheap" cooler setup like I've done isn't necessarily crap but it won't be a bolt in affair and the piping won't be standard either.

I personally wouldn't do less than what I've done but each to his own.

It cost more than I first thought.

You can certainly spend less, but what are you really buying??

It's top of the list at the moment because there aren't many direct replacement options.

I could go for a complete kit including piping but my plan is to keep the mods on this car to a minimum. That means keep the spending sensible too. I've spent far too much money on cars over the years and know that if I dont set a limit the whole thing spirals out of control. Im also aware that if I'm going to do it, I'll do it properly.

It's my daily, so focus is reliability. I'm looking for 300kw max.

planned mods are

cooler

f6 lower intake

Cat

pump & injectors.

Xcal 4 & Tune.

So I could spend big on a cooler and piping, but do I really need to?

You could do nothing to the cooler and still make that power.

It'll just be a bit poxy in summer.

I think you're cutting out a lot of options by wanting the piping route to stay stock.

I've seen them $100 cheaper on ebay.

If you hardly get to flog it then just do injectors, pump and tune and save the rest for cocaine and hookers.
