"Most" intercooler's specific to the B series XR6T requires cutting of front support bar and bending of the A/C line, super common and that's just the way it is...

do it slowly and upwards and towards the headlight area in general and it will be fine ( done it many times along with any performance workshop will ) and both plazmaman and PW show instructions on how to do it.

The Plazmaman 800hp kit doesn't require any cutting just bending of AC line and fits like a glove and yes I can help you out on a kit if that's what you're after ;)

Great idea if you happen to split the hard line when bending it OP haha but honestly out of the 100 people giving it the bend treatment only around 4 or 5 fhuck it up and split it, so gently as she goes ;)

Bending the lines just daisy chains the gained distance further along the line. It results in kinks (reduced diameter) and is ugly as...  Do it right, do it once.

It's very hard to talk customers into nearly an additional 50% of the intercooler cost for something that can be bent out the way just for the sake of saying it's been done "right" when the system still works exactly how it did before

I would say there would be no greater than 10 people who have done what you've done vs the thousands that have bent it out the way

just sayn.....

The thing is that most people either can't do it themselves or can't justify the $500 to $600 a shop would charge to r&r the bumper assy etc, cut and shut and regas the system.

If you already have the tools and know how to do it then great, I'd recommend it too.

For everyone else a 5 minute bend job is sufficient.

I for one dgaf what some piping hidden behind my bumper looks like.

I've scored a plazmaman pro series for $600 (I think that's a good price). It "came" with the cold side piping but it's not the plazmaman one. It's 60mm in diameter. Will that be a big restriction? The plazmaman one is 76mm from what I read.

All plazmaman gear is Pro Series lol

what HP rated unit is it ? The 76 series is 800/1000/1200 hp specs

yeh second hand buying hasn't done you any favours with that 60mm pipe
