So many positional changes over the last 50 laps it was a challenge to figure it all out... High quality weekend of racing, even if a Ford won't win it. :)

Didn't hang around for the podium (for reasons not relevant to this thread) and I'm on my way back home. There's plenty more for me to post and I'll move it all into a separate thread, I think.

Awesome the different angles you got to get to.

Did you walk the whole way round? (sorry if you said - was looking at pics, not text)

Not quite... there's a bit of private land between griffin's bend and the cutting that you can't walk along but you can only walk around it (can't see the track) and another piece of private land on the other side of the track from just after forest elbow to near the chase that's also inaccessible. Can see everything though from the photo's taken :) Probably took more photo's over the weekend than I've ever taken in my entire life :spoton:

That's all the media I've got to post (happy to answer any questions and continue the discussion), so cheers for anybody who read and saw (and maybe enjoyed) anything I posted over the weekend. It was an epic experience, to say the least :3gears:

Did you get a better idea of the elevation changes around the track?

That's what hit home to me compared to watching it on telly.

Yeah... Just walking from skyline (highest point) down to forest elbow (almost lowest point) was quite easy on the way down but was a fair bit of extra effort on the way back up :) luckily there was a cool breeze and I was wearing t-shirt & shorts or I would have been a sweaty mess... didn't help that I like to walk full pace everywhere, even uphill... xD
