Am so fscking sick of Peppa friggin Pig

Worst part is - the episodes only last about 5 minutes before the theme song pops back up again - aaarrghhhhh

Bub's away for a few days - took me 20mins yesterday morning to realise I didn't have to watch Dora and could change the channel

Good ideas ohmo's !

she's 12 so at that age where everything needs to be applicable lol

I've done the laptop connected to the TV before and obviously supports everything but it's the convenance of plugging one HDD in or a usb and it playing that pisses me off when it doesn't work

stripes that app sounds bang on !

I have and had samsung's with brilliant results everytime our oldest TV is a series 4 Plasma Samsung and the picture and Audio Quality is FAR superior to anything we've had since and still holds it's spot in the 2nd living room

had a quick look at Kogan and it's all online so I can't actually see one but they're cheap

I'm like the biggest samsung fanboy so I must agree with you here!!

Am the same - TV, phone, monitors and other stuff all Samsung.

For a kids bedroom TV though - $600 for a 32" Samsung I couldn't justify - thus the Soniq (or whatever store special brand)

My son is - hooked up to his lappy, his xbox and whatever else he has.

Hasn't missed a beat in 3?? years

Usually just uses a wireless mouse/keyboard from the bed to watch youtube etc with the TV acting as a monitor for the lappy.

Or the chromecast to stream them from his phone if the lappy's not hooked up.

One of his mates drops in with whatever shows on the usb stick and it's just plug in and watch.

(I think it's a Soniq - whatever brand JB had as their "Special Buy Store Brand" at the time - all much of a muchness)

I like JB so got their one.

Personally I just use a 27" monitor on the bedside table hooked into the lappy as my bedroom TV - streaming and Foxtel GO and I find it perfect.

You could get a cheap tv that supports DLNA and then buy one of these bad boys.

I got the 4 bay version at work and seems to be doing well.

I am contemplating getting the 6 bay version for home.
