Just to be clear, when I swap out block or even swap out rods. What do I need to change, Rings, Head studs, Head Gasket, + the other gaskets, Bearings?

How long is a piece of string? Depends on what you want to achieve Power wise.

I'm just meaning consumables no upgrades. Wish this engine builder would hurry up with this quote though!

For an FG Short install, budget for the motor $3.1K + freight (3.1K was landed in Perth so if they are able to do ex melb it may be cheaper, but knowing my parts guy he would arrange it to be transported on a stock transfer)

Top end Gasket Kit (head gasket/rocker cover gaskets/seals/intake exhaust gasket) $500

Sump U seals and Sealant $50

Fluids?? Depends on choice/preference $150 to $ 250

As for the head stud bolt/stud option. If your plans are to max a stock turbo on P98 use Gen Stock Bolts. If you have E85 plans it's worth installing studs.

Note you cannot reuse to original bolts

Im assuming your cylinder head is in good nick and doesn't require any work otherwise that'll quickly swallow 1k
