Choose the right Brake Pad for your Ford Falcon XR6 FG 2008 – NOW

Recommended Posts

Released in 2008, the FG is part of the seventh generation in a long lineage of Ford Falcons. Undeniably, the XR6 and XR6 Turbo are amongst the most popular of the FG’s offerings combining sporty performance and good looks with four-door family sedan practicality. Perfect for anyone who refuses to compromise between a fun driving experience and everyday usability. The XR6 features a naturally aspirated inline-6 generating 195kW and 391Nm whilst the XR6 Turbo boasts a healthy 270kW and 533Nm from its turbocharged inline-6 powerplant with both models being available with 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions. The XR6 and XR6 Turbo’s power is sent to the rear wheels (with a Limited Slip Differential being an optional extra) which can make some very fun times.

When it comes to braking, the FG Falcon XR6 and XR6 Turbo produce their stopping power via a set of 298mm discs in the front and 303mm discs in the rear in the case of the XR6, and 322mm discs in the front and 328mm solid discs in the rear.

Same pads for the larger discs on the Turbo as the ones on the smaller discs on the NA?

(description says 298mm front/298mm rear - not 298/322 Front, 303/328 Rear)
