Flash the stock tune back into it (but don't start it) and see if it works.

Then revert to the correct custom tune obviously.

I'll have a look at the sync 2 in wifeys TT tonight as see if I can spot and obscure reason why it would do that.

load standard tune and check. Make sure you re-load the modified tune back into it before running your car though....

if it works back on the standard tune then call the tuner and get him to fix it otherwise off to ford for a ICC reset/update

Thanks- I will flash the stock tune back in tomorrow and see what happens. It has had injectors swapped so I will definitely not be starting the car. I keep you posted.

:idunno:It's possible that they'll not care and it's also possible they'll screw you over. Only 1 way to find out.

park it in their driveway load the standard tune, they dont need to drive it or do anything. When you leave load your tune before you go. That way they cant do anything...not that they can anyway but you dont want to void any warranty

Back in 2012 I took my FG to get the aircon module updated (had aircon probs and needed codes). I told the service guy that the car was flashed and put a note on the dash.  I heard a car splutter into life from the waiting area and idle like a pig. Then the service guy comes out and says the tech guy accidently updated the whole car as it was on auto update.

In the end they were able to restore it to the original tune (don't know how they did that and he was very worried if they could restore it cause he said I may need a truck) but you got to bear this in mind whenever getting updates on a tuned car.

Problem resolved. It was not an ICC issue at all. The stereo system runs through an Audison Bit One sound processor. Somehow the flash tuning process interfered with the sound processor. The processor needed to be reset and the audio tune file reinstalled. All Good. Thanks to all.
