$3.6K! Worth sussing out metabox (http://metabox.com.au/store/b212/Metabox-Prime-P650HP-Laptop) if you haven't already thrown money at this. Similar specs will cost you $2.2K

Metabox are an Aussie mob the build/sell Clevo laptops

Basically bareskin (case and motherboard) they build/customise to order.

Great bang for buck and do stuff like using upgradeable desktop GPU/CPU's, SLI etc.

Sager, Origin are a couple of brands using the same gear (there are others with their own names/spin on it, but all pretty much the same)

Metabox, affordablelaptops and kong are the main Aussie ones - they all sell as Metabox.

Got one for my son a few years ago and it's still going strong. Was going to get myself one this time, but Alienware EOFY discounts gave me a better deal.

They're not flash, pretty units but quality is top notch and can be built to spec (pretty much from budget units up to the most powerful units available)

edit: google clevo or sager laptops if you want a better idea.

This guy does a few reviews on Metabox ones

I didnt do the research, but I think Razor is the better option for 14 inch. Better specs. We didnt pay $3600. Was about $2550 delivered, we had discount codes and vouchers.
