Hi guys, hate to pass on the cost I paid to a scalper but I am finally picking up the EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3080 I ordered on launch night tomorrow.

I managed to secure an Asus Tuf OC 3080 a few weeks back whilst waiting (ETA was unknown). I am now looking to offload the new EVGA card for the 1600 I paid for my current card... I am located in WA and would prefer not to post if possible

I thought it was worth offering it to someone on the forums prior to popping on marketplace - I have no doubt it will sell quickly

Alternatively if someone is more interested in the Tuf I might consider selling this. Card has only had a slight bit of use for Cyperpunk and has been undervolted to 0.875V from day one.

what EVGA card do you have? I am definitely interested in getting the Asus TUG OC3080

Bit of building to do this weekend.

Grabbed a 5800X (was about all that was available), X570 motherboard, 1TB nvme and a couple of 16gb sticks of ram.

I've got the waterblock for the GPU already, but now need to order one for the CPU so will wait to plumb thus build - air-cooled for now.

Nice work. Just out of curiosity, what memory sticks did you get? Speed, CAS latency and RAM Size per stick?

Thank goodness for pay day. I went full retard and went AMD. I have ordered the Water block Bracket for the cpu.

Waiting on that, so I can get the rest of my system up and running.

HX426C16FB4K2/32 32GB (16GB 2G x 64-Bit x 2 pcs.) DDR4-2666 CL16 288-Pin DIMM Kit

ahh okay, why such a low speed of 2666Mhz? I been told that anything above 3600Mhz is pointless with the Gen 3 Ryzens.

Well I been struggling to find anything out there really. I finally managed to get this kit "Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz C16"

I actually got the same NVME drive as you, The Samsung 980 pro.

I do not have an air cooler as the CPU is not supplied with one. Which one you going with?

I went with the Master MB, cause of the 3 NVME slots.

did a lot of research before I built my Ryzen system 15 months ago

3200Mhz was considered the "sweet spot"

and if you look at recommendations from AMD, 3200Mhz is the number they use

@Rab has a gen 4 Ryzen  :aaggl:

gen 5 by numbering

4 must have been an unlucky number for them or something

well, I'm glad you found it... now use it every time nobody has yet posted after you in a thread and it's within the 10min allowance you get to edit a post you've made :)  that'll save you getting upset that a merge script happens automatically :P

anyway, I assume "Edit" got relegated to the "3 dots" menu in this version of the forum software because it shouldn't be used as often as quote and multi-quote.

G-skill Trident Z Neo make some great 2 x 16gb 3600Mhz 18CL kits. If you look up a b-die finder you can find models that have easily overclockable memory. In any case you shouldnt have problem tweaking the timings to CL16

Cheap - have got 3600 in my current setup with a waterblock on them - will be swapping them in when I get the kit for the new CPU/MB
