Although Crysis 3 was released in 2013 it is so insanely hard for a pc to run it that it has become an internet meme.

My pc is pretty beasty and it still only runs the game at 60 fps, give or take, on a 1440p monitor with max settings.

I watched a dude playing it on youtube yesterday and it looked a bit ordinary.

I'm more into sim games so it's not really my cuppa tea anyway.

Dirt 4 is on sale for 18usd on steam this weekend. I'll give it a miss for now cos I still have a lot of dirt 3 to finish.

Decided to change my operating system on my server

sick of windoze home server 2011 and apparently a change is as good as a holiday. . . . . . . . .

downloaded FreeNAS cos it came as highly recommended, and as the name suggests, it's free

installed on a spare SSD and chucked a couple of HDD's in for a test run

Operating system install: check :type:

set up web user interface: check :type:

format HDD's: check :type:

access HDD's in web user interface: check :type:

transfer files to HDD: :bangcomputer: :dohdoh::smashpc:
