BCB go 2k @ 144hz. You can slightly adjust the graphics to suit a higher frame rate as needed and 4K 60hz is just stupid and there is a total lack of performance to be had.

I didn’t click the links you provided but AOC 32” curved is what I’m running and I won’t look back

BCB, the 1080Ti will struggle with 4k. My 1080Ti is sort of struggling with 2k 144hz 27" screen.

I like my settings on high and even though I blame the game, I am getting 60-70 FPS in ROE.

I have played dying light and was getting 120FPS.

If you think that you may get a 2080Ti in the future, then the 4k one is the best bet right now.

Do you really need 144hz as your old TV definitely wasn't 144hz.

Remember that once you go black you never want to go back.

Same thing applies to 144hz. Once you have a 144hz screen, if you go back to playing 60hz in games, you loose your sh*t within an hour and rage quit.

Don't ask me how I know cause I am not gonna tell you.

Im running 2k 144hz no issues with constant FPS. I have locked my FPS to 144fps even though I have free sync etc

but the moral of the of the story is go 2k 144hz BCB as you will have the best gaming experience possible and is future proof for some time to come.

:P

Don't forget to add the 2080Ti to the list too.

The price has me skeptical but it has the specs for a great monitor. Hopefully it doesn't have much ghosting or backlight bleed.

It's gonna be a huge step up from a 32 inch tv.

that's the exact model I have. I can’t fault it. Colour is awesome. Quality is awesome. Osd is clear and easy to use.

Compared to model twice the price there there is no difference except cost

My gpu was getting a bit hot recently so I reapplied the thermal interface and now it loves it. I also pulled 0.06 volts from the cpu and it dropped nearly 10c all around.

It's expandable so you could "see it" if you wanted to. Fractal Design Celsius S36.

Just played a few rounds of project cars and the 4790k at 4.7 only hit 57 to 59c.

Value for money and quality you can’t go wrong. I’m honestly never going to pay big $$ on monitors again.

These are on point, customer service and warranty are all awesome.

Glad you are enjoying BCB

Dunno if this will affect others but it affected me.

Went to update latest Nvidia gpu driver through geforce experience. It failed.

Tried downloading the driver from the website and installing it. It failed.

Uninstalled geforce experience, used DDU and checked the registry etc and it still wouldn't install.

Previous drivers etc wouldn't install.

Farked. No drivers.

A system restore was needed to get it working as of 3pm this arvy.

Have fun.

nope, especially when it is a GPU driver update. Thanks for the heads up. I only recently installed windows 10. would be a bitch if it failed doing the driver update.

Time for System restore point to be created. I am gonna call the system restore point PUFF WAGON!!!

Yeah it was pretty sucky at the time. I do an automatic daily backup of my entire boot drive so at least I can fix it, in rare cases like I had yesterday.

Tried this and that, including a windows update, and it fixed itself. Even though I did the system restore yesterday and the card was working etc, it didn't have any drivers installed when I checked it today. It must have been using a windows driver?

Fark knows.
